MODULE 2: CONVERSATIONAL SKILLS FOR DAILY USAGE
  • Introduce yourself, others in your group and your company
    • The correct sequence of introductions – senior positions, age, gender etc
  • Talk about job responsibilities
  • Asking For and Giving Permission
  • Polite forms in asking for, and giving permission
  • Use of affirmatives and negatives, in responding to requests for permission

MODULE 3: BASIC LISTENING AND COMPREHENSION

  • The participants will listen to audio recordings and write  a short paragraph to demonstrate their comprehension 
MODULE 4: SIMPLE EXPRESSIONS AND OFFER SIMPLE SUGGESTIONS
  • How to speak so that you are easily understood
    • Ask a question
    • Get a confirmation
    • Give instructions
  • Role plays to gain more experience in saying simple expressions and in offering simple suggestions in various situations 
MODULE 5: PRACTICE CLEAR SPEECH
  • “Voiced” and “Unvoiced” sounds

  • Pronounce 2-syllable words correctly so that the listener knows whether you are referring to a verb or a noun

MODULE 7: USE APPRECIATE TELEPHONE TERMINOLOGY
  • Since you cannot see the caller, how do you speak in a friendly, personal and professional way?
