  • Adjectives and adverbs that can cause problems
  • The parts of speech
  • “S” in possession and plurals
  • Active and passive voice
  • Confusing words – sound-a-likes  and look-a-likes
  • Do you write or spell a number? 
MODULE 3 - MORE ON SENTENCE STRUCTURE
  • Simple / compound / complex / compound-complex
  • Draw a diagram to visualize how a sentence should be constructed
  • Make sentences parallel so that words are in the same form or pattern
